Palm Desert - College of the Desert officials are investigating a potential security breach in the financial aid office that may have compromised student information.
Officials say the breach would affect fewer than 10 students. This is the 2nd security issue at the college in less than a month.
In the first case, someone sent out an e-mail that included the personal information of about 1,900 current and retired employees.
The e-mail was sent to other College of the Desert employees.
Officials say they're taking steps to make sure it doesn't happen again.
