INDIO, Calif. - Three people are behind bars tied to a gang and weapons violation investigation.
On Thursday, the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force, with the assistance of the Coachella Community Action Team and the Southern Coachella Valley Community Service District Team, served three stolen property search warrants.
Police arrested 46-year-old Fernando Garcia Regalado and a 15-year-old male juvenile on the 82100 block of Kenner Street in Indio.
Officers say Regalado was in possession of methamphetamine and the juvenile was arrested for possession of a stolen firearm.
The investigation initially began with the arrest of 33-year-old Ronnie Torres on May 22.
Authorities say Torres is a documented Indio gang member from Thousand Palms.
During Torres's arrest, authorities recovered three stolen firearms and stolen property.
