PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - Palm Springs Relay For Life is being held at Wet 'N' Wild on Saturday June 7, 2014 from 10am-10pm.
Event coordinators said tickets are $20 and you purchase them online. When you get to Wet 'N' Wild's website you enter the promo code "RELAY" and the ticket will be available to purchase.
Coordinators ask that you go to the relay to sign up as a participant and you should select to pay later because the Wet 'N' Wild ticket purhcase counts as the normal $10 registration fee.
Proceeds from the $10 registration fee go to the American Cancer Society.
There will be different games and activities throughout the day with the survivor breakfast set for 9 a.m. The survivor lap will take place around the lazy river area.
Coordinators said they will provide bottled water as usual, but food and additional drinks have to be purchased in the water park until it closes. When the park closes, relay teams can sell drinks and food.
The Palm Springs committee is raffling off a cabana and a family 4-pack of tickets to the water park. The package is worth $300, according to event coordinators.
So come out and have some fun in the sun, stay cool, and support a great cause. Every step is one closer to a cure.
