PALM DESERT, Calif. - Palm Desert police are looking for suspects in an attempted kidnapping on Thursday night.
Police spokesman Angel Ramos said the incident happened around 7:20 p.m. on Fred Waring Drive, just east of Cook Street.
The woman was approached by a man driving an older model, grey van, Ramos said.
"The male subject exited his vehicle, approached the victim and asked the victim if she wanted a ride. When the victim declined the ride, the male subject grabbed the victim's right arm. The victim was able to break away from the male subject and ran away from the area.," he said.
Officers who were called to the area were not able to find the car or the suspect.
