CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. - Three medical marijuana dispensaries will be allowed to open in Cathedral City. The Council voted four to one in favor of the ordinance that will go into affect on September 12th. The appeal of the potential income to the City may have swayed council members to vote in favor of the ordinance. Come November, Cathedral City voters will decide on a 15-percent tax on medical marijuana. Dispensary doors could open as soon as November or the beginning of 2015.
