Free disaster preparedness workshop offered in Palm Desert

The class will cover a number of topics ranging from earthquakes to floods

PALM DESERT. Calif. - The American Red Cross will offer a free disaster
preparedness workshop in Palm Desert today.

The workshop, which runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 39665 Entrepreneur Lane, Suite A, will be hosted by KESQ Channel 3 anchor Karen Devine.

Information will be presented about how to be ready for storms, floods, fires, earthquakes and other disasters, according to organizers.

Lunch will be provided for participants.
