Palm Desert - The city of Palm Desert will start its free fall concert series at Civic Center Park Thursday.
Concerts will be held at 7 p.m. at the park on four consecutive Thursdays in October.
Tomorrow's concert features blues rocker Kelly Moneymaker.
The rest of the lineup:
-- Oct. 10: Amanda Castro, vintage jazz;
-- Oct. 17: David and Olivia, Americana and country; and
-- Oct. 24: Shaken Not Stirred, dance.
Concertgoers should bring picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase; alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited.
