DESERT HOT SPRINGS, Calif. - Four people were taken into custody early Thursday morning following an overnight police pursuit through the Coachella Valley.
Some of the chase was caught on video as a driver eluded police by refusing to stop in Palm Springs near El Cielo and Ramon Road.
The pursuit started shortly after 1 a.m. when officers tried to stop the driver of a white sedan they believed to be associated with a vehicle burglary.
But the driver wouldn't stop instead speeding away.
The chase wrapped through Cathedral City, Thousand Palms, Sky Valley then into Desert Hot Springs where it ended along Highway 62 just south of Dillon Road.
Police say the suspects stopped on their own.
There were no reports of any injuries nor any word on what charges would be filed against the one adult and three teenagers reportedly involved.
