Elderly Salton City Man Missing

Family Hires Helicopter To Search For Man

SALTON CITY, Calif. - Authorities are looking for help to find an 87-year-old Salton City man who's been missing since Saturday.

Jim Baker was last seen by his daughter at his home on Harlequin Court at around 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
He was wearing a tan T-shirt and tan shorts.
Along with Baker, his 2008 white Toyota Scion disappeared sometime during the day.
The Imperial County Sheriff's Department says it searched on the ground and from the air Sunday and found no signs of Baker or his car.
On Monday in Thermal, Baker's grandson, Jim Paulon, who flew in from Rhode Island, jumped in a helicopter to conduct an aerial search of his own.

He also didn't find any signs of his grandfather.

If you know anything about the whereabouts of Baker, call the Imperial County Sheriff's Department or call the family directly at 954-253-8999.
