Minor Earthquake Near Big Bear

LOS ANGELES - An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.7 struck the Big Bear Lake region at 7:55 a.m. today.

Automated data from the U.S. Geological Survey places the epicenter about 7 miles north of Big Bear City, and 80 miles east of the Los Angeles Civic Center.
