Despite a couple speed bumps that derailed his career, Reubens, who turns 60 on Aug. 27, 2012, has seen a recent resurgence, including a successful run of "The Pee-wee Herman Show on Broadway" in 2010, which was recorded for an HBO special released in March 2011.
