From beauty queen to Hollywood

Every aspiring celebrity has to start somewhere, and for certain stars that somewhere was the world of fake eyelashes, makeup and spray tans known as beauty pageants. Take a look at which stars were beauty queens first.
Miss World
Oscar-winner Halle Berry won the first pageant she entered, taking home Miss Teen All-American in 1985. She went on a year later to win Miss Ohio USA, eventually finishing as runner-up to Miss USA. She was the first African-American Miss World entrant in 1986 (as seen here in the center of the front row), where she finished sixth.
