Katy Perry may have said that she's looking forward to a break, but the singer isn't taking one before snapping up another business opportunity.
Perry is the new spokesperson for Popchips, and will serve as a "brand ambassador" for the company in an ad campaign in the fall, the Los Angeles Times reports.
This isn't just a promotional deal for the celebrity juggernaut, however, as she's also an investor. Ashton Kutcher, who found himself embroiled in controversy after his own Popchips ad, also has a stake in the healthy chips brand, which has earned rave reviews by other stars like Jennifer Hudson.
Believe it or not, Perry has Twitter to thank for her latest business venture: While promoting her biographical film "Part of Me," Perry mentioned her introduction to the snack courtesy of a stash in her hotel minibar.
"I read the back of the label and saw that it was a healthier choice," she later explained about stumbling across the tasty find. "I was hooked after my first bite! When I discover something good, I want to share it with everyone I know, so I tweeted about it," she said in a statement.
