It's not unusual for two good-looking stars to meet on set and develop a romance. That's exactly what happened when Bullock starred with an up-and-coming Gosling in the 2002 psychological thriller "Murder by Numbers." The two, who are 16 years apart in age, dated for about a year before breaking up.
