Anderson Cooper and Star Jones. Cooper recently said he wasn’t happy with the way Star Jones reacted to his announcement last summer in which he declared publicly for the first time that he is gay and called her hypocritical. “I seem to recall her hawking her wedding every single day to get free products when she was on 'The View' and I seem to recall her lying about her gastric bypass surgery and making everybody else lie about it as well,” he said.
