Friday, May 10th and Weekend Forecast: Out with the low and in with the heat! High pressure will build over SoCal today and into the weekend bringing toasty temps back to the desert after our relatively cooler than usual work week. Highs along the Valley floor will be in the upper 90s today under mostly clear skies with afternoon dewpoints in the upper 30s. Expect the wind to shift from 5-15mph with the occasional gust in the 20s. High pressure will be sitting pretty in the West over this weekend and into next work week. A pair of highs at 103° are in the works for Saturday and Sunday with peak heat in the low to mid triple digits into the next work week. Have a great Mother's Day weekend!
