Kate Cagle reports for CBS Local 2's Morning Show.
Over the years, she's covered the largest gang crackdown in Riverside County history, visits by state dignitaries and CBS Local 2's coverage of former first lady Betty Ford's funeral in 2011.
Kate graduated from the University of Southern California with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. In college, she produced, anchored and reported for USC's student-run newscast covering Southern California wildfires and a city budget crisis that threatened to shut down Los Angeles city services.
In July 2009 she served as a production assistant for NBC Network News during the Michael Jackson memorial service and traveled to Neverland Ranch.
When she's not working, Kate enjoys spending time with family and friends, sampling the best restaurants the desert has to offer and, of course, watching Trojan football.
