The public can visit The Living Desert for free on Saturday, as the zoo is participating in the 8th "Museum Day", in partnership with Smithsonian Magazine.

Visit www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday to download a Museum Day ticket. Free admission is granted to anyone who presents a Museum Day ticket. One ticket is good for two guests, good only for Saturday, September 29th, when The Living Desert is open from 8:00am - 1:30pm.

Nyla Patzner, spokesperson for The Living Desert said, "We are thrilled to partner again with the Smithsonian Magazine in this very special nationwide program. Outreach programs are essential to the Valley and we hope to see many new faces at the park and welcome back familiar friends."

  • One-time use on September 29, 2012.
  • Card must be presented for free general admission.
  • General admission only.
  • Admission Card is good for general admission for attendee plus one guest.
  • One Admission Card per household.
  • Not for use with any other offer(s).
