Police and casino officials say a portion of the Las Vegas Strip will be shut down and traffic will be diverted during the arrival of country music superstar and new Caesars Palace headliner Shania Twain.
Caesars Entertainment spokeswoman Kelly Frey says parts of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road will be shut down before and after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Las Vegas police Officer Laura Meltzer says motorists will be diverted away from the area during that time.
Twain is due to begin a two-year run of shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace starting Dec. 1.
She's the best-selling female country artist of all time, and has sold more than 75 million albums worldwide.
