Inland Empire gas price rises for second day
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire rose two-tenths of a cent Monday to $3.776, one day after increasing for the first time since Oct. 8.
Despite the back-to-back increases, the average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 2.3 cents less than one week ago and 48.5 cents lower than one month ago, but 5.1 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price rose a half-cent Sunday. It decreased for 36 consecutive days, was unchanged Nov. 14, resumed dropping the following day and was unchanged again last Monday.
