Inland Empire gas price falls again
Average price falls for 38th time in 40 days
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire fell Tuesday for the 38th time in 40 days, dropping three-tenths of a cent to $4.028, its lowest amount since Feb. 6.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 2.9 cents less than one week ago, 20.1 cents lower than one month ago and 25.2 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has dropped 26.3 cents over the past 40 days, including six-tenths of a cent on Monday.
