The average price of gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped today to its lowest amount since Dec. 29, decreasing 1.2 cents to $3.581 for a gallon of self-serve regular .
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has decreased 66 of the past 71 days, dropping $1.107 over that span, including three- tenths of a cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 7.2 cents less than one week ago and 21.8 cents lower than one month ago, but 4.5 cents more than one year ago.
