The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire decreased today for the 31st consecutive day, falling 2.2 cents to $3.902, its lowest amount since Aug. 8.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has decreased 78.6 cents over the past 31 days, including 2.2 cents on Wednesday, after rising 52.4 cents over the previous six days to a record high of $4.688 on Oct. 8, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 15.8 cents less than one week ago and 78.6 cents lower than one month ago, but 6.5 cents higher than one year ago.
