An upper level ridge of high pressure and weak offshore flow will bring very hot and dry weather to Riverside County Sunday through Wednesday, elevating the risk of wildfire in the region, forecasters said today.
Monday and Tuesday will be the hottest and driest days, according to the National Weather Service, which forecast highs in the triple digits in the Inland Empire.
"A cooling trend will take place Thursday and Friday of next week as the upper ridge weakens and onshore flow returns," according to a weather service advisory.
