Cathedral City High School will honor boxing champion Timothy "Desert Storm" Bradley at his alma mater's football game tonight.
Bradley, who beat Manny Pacquiao in a split decision to claim the World Boxing Organization welterweight title in Las Vegas in June, will be given the key to the school at halftime, Vice Principal Todd Diliberto said. Bradley graduated from Cathedral City High School in 2001.
"We will be recognizing him for his recent championship and his contributions to CCHS," Diliberto told City News Service.
The game starts at 7 p.m. at the school's stadium, 69-250 Dinah Shore Drive.
