This will give you cause to think twice before sending your meal back at a restaurant. A steak-house won't have to fork over nearly $150,000 because of human hair in a meal served to a customer. A Wisconsin state appeals court has ruled the damage award was improper. Kevin Hansen ordered a steak at a Texas Roadhouse restaurant. He sent it back, saying it was too well done. A cook cut a slit in the new steak, stuffing some of his own hair inside. A jury found the restaurant wasn't negligent and the cook acted on his own. But the jury did order nearly 150-K in damages. That's now been tossed out by the appeals court.
