A 29-day streak of gasoline price hikes in the Inland Empire ended Wednesday when the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular remained unchanged at $4.289.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties rose 57.3 cents during the streak, including one-tenth of a cent on Tuesday, reaching its highest amount since Oct. 25, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 2.5 cents more than one week ago and 57.1 cents higher than one month ago but a half-cent less than one year ago.
