A 10-day streak of decreases ended today when the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire rose six-tenths of a cent to $4.124.
The streak of decreasing prices was the longest since a 52-day streak ended July 13, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The average price decreased 2.7 cents during the streak, including four-tenths of a cent on Wednesday.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 1.3 cents less than a week ago but 2.7 cents more than one month ago and 20.9 cents higher than one year ago.
