Democratic congressional candidate Ruiz to hold forum on Medicare for seniors

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. -

Democratic congressional candidate Raul Ruiz will  hold a forum about Medicare for seniors today in Palm Springs.
      The forum is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Four Seasons hotel. Ruiz will  discuss "protecting Medicare for current seniors and future generations,"  campaign spokesman Patrick Boland said.
      Ruiz, an emergency room physician at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho  Mirage, is running against Republican Rep. Mary Bono Mack for the 36th  Congressional District seat.
