CBS Local 2 Morning Anchor
Jenifer Daniels has been a Coachella Valley resident for eleven years.
A graduate of Mississippi State University's Broadcast Meteorology Program... Jenifer moved to the Palm Springs area from Peoria, Illinois. She joined the CBS Local 2 Morning Show as the Morning Meteorologist. After six years of crazy hours I left CBS Local 2. Only to be asked to return to TV a year later all the while still maintaining her position as a Community Liaison/Foundation Specialist with a local hospice organization.
Eventually, she made a full-time comeback to CBS Local 2 and in early 2012 she quit touting sunshine and began reporting the news. Jenifer is now co-anchor of the CBS Local 2 Morning News and am back to crazy hours... weekday mornings from 5-7am.
She keep herself busy supporting various causes in the community.
Near and dear to her is The Alzheimer's Association, having served as Mistress of Ceremonies for their Annual walk for ten years running. One year, even Chairing the event. Pulling at her heart strings is Loma Linda University Childrens Hospital's Big Hearts for Little Hearts, too. She has been actively involved with their Desert Auxiliary Board for many years. Jenifer is also a big supporter of AIDS Assistance Program, LGBT Center and Coachella Valley Repertory Theater.
Over the years Jenifer has lent herself to emcee countless events, judged numerous competitions and served on many boards. She’s most happy, grateful and take extreme pride in being the "Mom" to three terrific teens. Twin boys and her little girl! Not to be confused with a crazy cat lady she also have a HUGE soft spot for furry kiddos. Loves her rescue pups and special "Weather Dog", Fuji...Fujita 5 when she misbehaves.
Jenifer feels very fortunate to live in arguably one of the most gorgeous areas in this country.
