BANNING, Calif. -

Banning police are still trying to figure out who shot and killed a man at a Banning apartment complex this past weekend.

According to a news release by Banning Police, they responded to a call of shots fired at an apartment complex on the 400 block of East Nicolet Street around 2:24 p.m. Saturday.

When they arrived on scene they found a man shot multiple times.  The unnamed victim was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center where he later died from his wounds.
