Porsche is evolving its little Cayman coupe, and it showed off the all-new 2014 version of the car at the Los Angeles Auto Show Wednesday.
The company said the new car is longer, lighter, faster, and more powerful than previous generations of the Cayman.
The two-seater features a mid-mounted 2.7-liter engine good for 275 horsepower, or a 3.4-liter engine producing 325 horsepower. Those numbers are up from the similar-sized engines in the Boxster convertible, which shares a lot of components with the Cayman.
The all-new coupe will be available in spring 2013 with a starting price of about $53,000.
