Hernan Quintas co-anchors KUNA Noticias on Telemundo 15 weekdays at 6 and 11 p.m., and he is also a reporter for KESQ Channel 3.

Hernan began his career at KUVS-TV 19 in Sacramento as a sportscaster and as sports/news reporter.

You may have also seen Hernan on another Spanish television station in the Palm Springs market for a while.

Even though Hernan started his career in sports, he found a direct connection with viewers reporting news stories that affect the community as a whole, and he says he takes pride in reporting issues that affect the Hispanic community.

Born in Oaxaca, Mexico, Hernan was brought to the states when he was barely a teenager, locating with his family in Northern California.

He enjoys learning about other cultures and plays soccer when he is not hiking our local mountains. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from California State University Sacramento and also obtained a private pilot licence. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Hernan has been living in the magnificent Coachella Valley for the past six years.
