You'll see Samantha if you are up early! She is the reporter on News Channel 3 in the Morning and CBS Local 2 This Morning from 5 - 7 a.m. and also the weekend morning Anchor on News Channel 3.

Born and raised in the Coachella Valley, Samantha is thrilled and proud to continue a career in journalism in her hometown.

Samantha is the last standing "BOB" of the Bob Hope Classic girls, serving as a Bob Hope Classic Golf Tournament "spokeswoman" in 2011.

Samantha produced the CBS Local 2 Morning Show to its highest ratings in the newscast's history in that same year, 2011. She also began and contributes to multiple news websites and social media outlets.

Samantha graduated Chapman University in 2011 with a B.F.A in Television - Broadcast Journalism. Samantha was a founder, producer, and anchor for Chapman News, Orange County's only local news broadcast. She joined the team at CBS Local 2 in 2010 while still attending Chapman University full time, making for quite the commute (she survived with podcasts).

While at CU, Samantha was nominated for the prestigious Mir Tuhki Award for Excellence in Journalism. She also won the Cecil Award for Best TV Show, Chapman News in 2011.

Samantha was a cheerleader at Palm Desert High School and Chapman University. She returned to coach cheerleading at Palm Desert High School for two years. A serious college football fan, she says cheerleading was her way to have an effect on the game without actually playing.

Her hobbies include traveling (mostly to catch a PAC12 game), cheerleading, living-room yoga, amusement parks, and loving her two dogs, 15-year-old airedale Maxx and rescue poodle Magic.

Drop her a line on Facebook at and Twitter. She'll respond.
