You can count on Gil to keep you informed first thing in the morning.

     Gil has been a vital member of the award winning News Channel 3 HD in the Morning team since 2005.   He can be seen also on News Channel 3 HD at Noon.  His experience and versatility allows him to adapt to any environment and situation, whether it is breaking news or a feature story.

     He has been fortunate enough to be at the forefront of several momentous events, including the Esperanza Fire, the first same-sex marriage and the death of former President Gerald Ford.

     In 2009, Gil created the "Good News" series.  He uncovers and tells uplifting and inspirational stories about people in the desert.

     Gil was born and raised in Los Angeles.  He has more than seven years of news reporting and news anchoring experience.   Prior to working at KESQ-TV, Gil worked at television stations in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Massachusetts.

     Gil has a Master's degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University.
