Police Catch Suspect Involved in Indio KFC Robbery

INDIO - An Indio man is behind bars accused of holding up a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in Indio.

It happened Friday at 9:45 p.m. on the 81700 block of highway 111.

Officers quickly arrived on scene and surrounded the restaurant.

As officers investigated they saw a man run out the doors.

Officers caught up with Ernesto Bracamonte, 30.

During the arrest, police say Bracamonte dropped the stolen money and a black metal air pistol used during the robbery.

No one was hurt.
