INDIO - A man accused of fatally shooting an Apple Valley man in Palm Springs and a woman accused of trying to help the defendant evade arrest pleaded not guilty today to felony charges.
Dale Farquhar, 47, faces one count of first-degree murder and a sentence- enhancing allegation of using a gun in the shooting death of 57-year-old Larry Roger Fisk.
Cara Covert Williams, 38, faces a felony charge of being an accessory in a felony.

Riverside County Superior Court Judge Jeffery Gunther ordered the pair to return to court on Dec. 1 for a felony settlement conference.
Williams was taken into custody Wednesday, but police did not immediately release any details of her arrest.
Farquhar was arrested Sunday on suspicion of the shooting, said Sgt. Mitch Spike of the Palm Springs Police Department.
Fisk was found outside a second-floor condominium around 2 p.m. Saturday at the Palm Springs Villas complex in the 600 block of Ashurst Court, Spike said.
Fisk was found next to Farquhar's condo, Spike said. Police did not release a motive in the shooting.
