LA QUINTA - A La Quinta massage parlor raided in a prostitution sting this week was also involved in a rape investigation involving a former Riverside County Sheriff's Deputy.

Authorities raided "Point Happy Massage Therapy" Tuesday arresting three people on prostitution and drug charges.

Back in February, a former sheriff's deputy Marc Diaz was arrested and charged with five counts of sexual assault.  He allegedly forced a woman at the same massage parlor to have sex with him, and threatened to have her deported if she didn't.

Diaz resigned in June of 2004 after he was accused of soliciting prostitutes in Indio. He was never charged in that case.

Diaz is being held on a million dollars bail, and is set to go on trial early next year.
