Major Injures After Early Morning Rollover on I-10

DESERT HOT SPRINGS - A single car rollover caused major injuries and some backups on Interstate 10 near a rest area, this morning.

California highway Patrol tells News Channel 3 a Chrysler PT Cruiser was heading eastbound on the interstate when a big rig swerved, forcing the Cruiser off the road.  The big rig continued down the freeway.

The driver and a passenger of the car suffered major injuries, and were taken to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs.
