Bianca Rae is a reporter and anchor for CBS Local 2, the CBS affiliate, and KESQ News Channel 3, the ABC affiliate, in Palm Springs, California.

You can catch her on the hottest red carpets interviewing celebrities such as Melissa Etheridge, Enrique Iglesias, Wynonna Judd, Patrick Warburton, Jacoby Jones, Derek Hough...the list goes on. A strong animal advocate, Bianca also highlights animal rights in her reports, urging people to create a "No-Kill Coachella Valley."

Bianca's also the reporter and fill-in anchor for CBS Local 2's Eye on the Desert.

A 2011 graduate from the University of Missouri, Bianca received a dual degree in broadcast journalism and spanish as well as a minor in sociology. She is a bilingual reporter who anchored and reported at KOMU-8, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Missouri for three years. She interned at KTLA-5 in 2009 and 2010, and E! Entertainment and Fox Sports in LA in 2010.

In her free time, Bianca loves trying new restaurants, and thankfully she enjoys working out, particularly CrossFit. She enjoys spending time with her rescue dog, Jack, romance novels, baseball games, hiking, country music, and a good quote can turn her day around. Bianca loves to travel and hopes to visit all seven continents. She enjoys hiking and playing golf. 

Bianca serves as a member of the Junior League of Palm Springs, and is active with Companions Visitation Ministry of Sacred Heart Church. She is also a Media Maven and a volunteer at the Animal Care Center of Indio. Bianca is the founder of the "Faith, Hope, and Pups" benefit to raise money for local shelter animals.  

She took 1st place in the 2nd Annual "Dancing With the Desert Stars" event in Palm Springs. Bianca wowed the crowd with her Tango and Cha Cha. The event raised a total of $75,000 for the Desert Aids Project 100 Women. 

Bianca is very close with her family and she stays in touch with them in Chicago via long phone calls and Skype.
